Tried out OEB on New Years Day. It was quite busy (arrived at 11:20 or so, got on the wait list, was seated at 12:05 and got food around 12:45-1) but it was also the holiday so I understand why! I appreciate that they use Yelp Waitlist so my table companions and I were able to go for a walk before eating. We all enjoyed our dishes, even with the long wait to get our meals. I do wish my dish was a bit more warm but LOVED the eggs Benny with Canadian bacon. I have never seen such fresh dark orange-yellow yolks outside of Japan. Loved the hollandaise and the side of tators. The Caesers could use a bit less vodka but glad they didn’t skimp on it. Excited to come back for future brunches!

Had to come back to this spot for a slap up breakfast. Conveniently located around the corner from where East meets West (King St). The menu is filled with options for anyone, with a nicely elevated complementary pairing of flavours and gluten free options above and beyond bacon and eggs. It’s a bit on the noisy side with the open kitchen so if you or your party are sensitive to noise I’d keep that in mind. Reservations recommended - it’s busy because it’s good! Shout out to Jill who remembered us from our trip last summer :) all of the staff who served us today were wonderful!

We have not had a better breakfast. My boyfriend and I enjoyed an amazing meal on a Sunday morning. The food was just out of this world. The service was super quick, the staff was friendly for the most part but it was very busy in there. The atmosphere feels like a typical Sunday morning breakfast place - constantly busy. Portion sizes are perfect and their waffles and mango juice is amazing. Either way I would go back a million times.

A great spot for breakfast! The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient. Everything came out quickly, which was a nice bonus. I especially appreciated the option to substitute fries with a side of greens as I prefer a lighter meal.

Delightful breakfast spot in the Downtown core. Spacious and bright, friendly service and big mugs if coffee. The banana bread pudding with strawberries and maple bacon was brilliant, the French toast very good too.

Solid brunch spot that is currently a little hidden away because of some construction in front. Was mostly impressed with the service here. We had a group of 6 that was really hungry and looking for food after running a 10k, and one of our group members called and asked if they could hold a table for us while we took the TTC over. They said they normally don't hold tables, but would keep us in mind, and when we got there they had a table ready for us. Much appreciated thank you! Servers are also very kind. One saw me trying to take a photo of the group and offered to take one for us. The food here is also pretty good and good value for money as well considering it's a brunch restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto. I got the smoked meat benedict and the poaching of my egg was perfectly soft. The sauce and potatoes were awesome as well. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the side of fruit add on. One of our group members got it and while it's presented very nicely, didn't have much there.

We had a wonderful Sunday brunch here! This is our absolute favourite place in downtown Toronto for a breakfast or brunch spot. Their menu offers plenty of vegetarian options. Everything we ordered from the pancakes to mushroom toast were sooo delicious and satisfying. The atmosphere is lively. While the servers seemed a bit rushed they still made sure all our needs were met and were attentive throughout. A big plus: their online reservation system is super convenient and helps avoid the usual weekend wait. You can book your table even if you are party of 2, as suppose to I have seen most places just asking small group to do a walk-in only! Well booking a table in advance was such a peace of mind. We even got a call from the restaurant to confirm if we are coming as we were running 5 mins late. Ability to book in advance is great especially if you planning a date! When in Toronto DT and craving a quality brunch with great vegetarian choices, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

The restaurant was very open and clean. We were seated almost immediately after walking in. However, it was quite noisy and difficult to have a conversation with the person sitting across from me. The food was excellent, and there were quite a few vegetarian options available. Our server was friendly. However, due to the noise level in the restaurant, she did not hear everything we were requesting (ex, cream for coffee), but she checked in with us frequently when it was quieter and brought us what we needed.
